Our Team

Garry S. Bergman, CPA
Mr. Bergman is managing member of the Firm. He has been a licensed CPA for over 39 years and is a graduate of University of Hartford. He has worked for several large, well known, public accounting firms before starting his own practice. Mr. Bergman is experienced in individual, corporate and estate taxes as well as estate planning and tax compliance. In addition, he is adept in providing litigation support with regard to civil business and divorce matters and he is experienced in providing attestation services to non-public company's, homeowner and condominium associations.

Lauren B. Hirsch, CPA*
Mrs. Hirsch has been practicing accounting for more than 20 years and became licensed in New York in 1993. She is a graduate of Hofstra University located in Long Island New York. She has worked in medium size accounting firms in Manhattan which specialized in real estate accounting and auditing until 2001 at which point she started her own firm. The professional experience Lauren has received during her career as a CPA has been invaluable to her clients. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Jerrold Hirsch, CPA**
Mr. Hirsch has been a practicing accountant for 30 years. He is a licensed CPA in the states of Florida and New York. Mr. Hirsch has worked in medium and small accounting firms until starting his own firm in 1995. Mr. Hirsch is a graduate of Pratt Institute located in Brooklyn, New York. Mr. Hirsch is experienced in all aspects of corporate and individual taxation as well as estate taxation and estate planning strategies. Through the years he has developed a niche in IRS Representation as well as State and Local compliance representation, sales tax audits and Department of Labor compliance audits. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Steven J. Tyman, CPA
Mr. Tyman has been a licensed CPA, in the State of Florida, for over 14 years and is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University. Before joining Bergman Hirsch he had his own firm. Prior to that, Mr. Tyman worked for two large local firms located in Broward and Palm Beach counties. He is experienced in individual and corporate taxation as well as providing attestation services to non-public companies, homeowner and condominium associations.
